Flowdesk CRM review: solid pipelines, clunky automation.

Tested over 30 days with a five-person sales team. Good at the basics, weak the moment you need workflows to branch.

Verdict

Good fit if you're under ten reps and want simple, visual pipelines with almost no setup. Skip it if you need multi-branch automation or deep reporting — you'll outgrow it within a year.

Overview

Flowdesk positions itself as a CRM for teams that find HubSpot and Salesforce overbuilt. The pipeline view is genuinely fast to set up — we had deals imported and stages configured inside twenty minutes, no onboarding call required.

Pros & cons

Pros
  • Pipeline setup in under 20 minutes, no import wizard needed
  • Clean mobile app — actually usable for updating deals on the go
  • Flat pricing per seat, no usage-based surprises
Cons
  • Automation branches cap at two conditions — dealbreaker past a basic follow-up sequence
  • Reporting is pipeline-only; no cohort or forecasting views
  • No native calling — routes through a third-party integration

Final take

Flowdesk does one thing well: getting a small sales team into a shared pipeline fast, without a consultant. It's the wrong tool the moment your follow-up logic needs more than two conditions, or you need forecasting beyond “deals by stage.”

For a five-person team replacing a shared spreadsheet, it's a clear upgrade. For anyone already outgrowing simple pipelines, look at Growth-tier HubSpot or Pipedrive instead.
