Project Overview
Konnect wanted to launch a suite of business phone line products for the SME market. They were looking to create solutions that would be competitive in the busy telecoms market, as well as to be able to offer out of the box services that could be easily implemented.
Execution
The execution plan consisted of three parts: VoIP platform, Sales & Marketing Strategy and Social Media Marketing.
TIN created a platform with enterprise grade features with brand customization and complete end user management.
We researched the current VoIP market to determine how Konnect should package their services. The challenge was to create affordable call plans and feature rich services that would be attractive to the end user, whilst remaining profitable. The result was simple - give users access to all features with transparent, cost effective pricing.
Konnect determined their social media marketing budget, which was then applied to create and promote ads on the relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). We also created a catalogue of impactful blogs to feed all web properties.
Results
TIN created a platform that enables a business to activate service within 1 minute, and deploy a virtual switchboard in under 1 hour. Automated billing and service provisioning (including hardware) simplifies support function, allowing Konnect to focus on helping clients transition to the VoIP world.
We have since worked with the Konnect team to create a global telephony app that allows anyone to "Konnect" with any other platform member, reducing long-distance calling costs significantly, aligning with the Konnect mission '...to unite the planet at affordable prices'.
